The most referred talking point is "Nirbhaya" right now, as the Court announced the final judgement of "Nirbhaya" case. We are hearing such cases often nowadays. Few cases got published by media and got the public attention. While there are number of such cases are still not known to public as it does not got registered.
By making "Ho - Halla" and public representation, such kind of cases will not stop. Yes, it is very much important that such cases got published by media and public pressure will be there on all judiciary system to take fast actions. But unfortunately, this does not create the required impact here compare to other countries.
Everyone is talking about "Ye hua, ek ladki ke sath Rape hua", rapist to saja milni chahiye." But what happens ? In few cases, the one who has faced all such things, will not have courage to at least file a FIR because of our social culture. Where the person, make it possible to show courage, in that case, our Judiciary system does not take fast actions. It takes a long time to the hearing of the case and years to pass the judgement. Too much late justice is equal to no Justice.
So, whats the option available to stop such cases ? As a common man, we too have our daughter and sisters ? We too need to think about it seriously. Kya hamari koi jimmedari hai ki hum apne son / bhai ko hi aisi parvarish de ?
Yes, the change should begin from our own home / family. We should inculcate the manners and sanskar in our kids - to value the security of our daughters and sisters. If this happens, half of our problems will get solved.
Lets take a pledge, that we will teach our kids / boys to respect the lady, not to misbehave with them. I have taken this pledge, have you ????????????
